History

FEEFHS Journal was published initially as FEEFHS Newsletter, which focused on news and information about the FEEFHS organization. It began publication in 1993 and was issued quarterly. The publication, which had already begun to evolve beyond a newsletter, was transformed into a professional journal of Central & East European Genealogical Studies in 1998 with Volume VI and renamed FEEFHS Quarterly. In 1999 it was renamed FEEFHS Journal and became an annual publication.In 2003, the newsletter was reintroduced as a separate publication for members, published online, and known as FEEFHS e-News.
