Locations: These villages can be found on a modern map about 100 kilometers east of Munkatsch and about 50 kilometers north of the border to Romania in the very south of the modern state Ukraine. The capital is Uschgorod; the chief town of a district is Tjacovo. Formerly the political district was Maramarosch.

The parish-office situated in Deutsch-Mokra belonged to the bishopric Szatmar (now Satu-Mare in Romania) and took care of all villages mentioned above. Nearly all persons of our database are Roman-Catholic.
