How Large is FEEFHS?

FEEFHS was founded in Seattle Washington by a small number of East European genealogists in June 1992.

By the end of 1992, 11 societies had accepted the premise of FEEFHS and joined together as founder member organizations.

FEEFHS then doubled in size to 22 societies by the end of 1993.

FEEFHS nearly tripled in size to 65 member organizations in 1994.

FEEFHS had reached a organizational membership of 123 by December 31, 1996.

By December 1997 FEEFHS had grown to over 170 member societies and organizations and a large number of individual members.

Present grow trends suggest that FEEFHS may continue to grow at this rate.
