In the Appendix there is a FGR master form for copying. You will need one form for each couple shown on your Pedigree Charts. For easy corrections, use a pencil on your work copies. The finished forms should be typed or printed in black ink.

While a pedigree is a visual summary of couples who are family heads, a Family Group Record presents a detailed record of each couple and their children. It contains much information on one page...

"HUSBAND" section contains the husband's full given name followed by any necessary explanation. Enter the data in the same form given for the Pedigree Chart.

Example:

HUSBAND: Nishan Krikor Sherinian 1
BORN:   12 Jan 1860  PLACE: Zara, Sivas, Turkey
CHR:
MARR    23 Nov 1886  PLACE: Zara. Sivas. Turkey
DIED:   23 Jun 1945  PLACE: Murray, Salt Lake, Utah
BUR:    28 Jun 1945  PLACE: Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah

Example:

Husband's Father: Krikor Nerses Sherinian. Husband's Mother: Arick Bedros Hotzotian...
